| Nismo does NOT make injectors for Nissan, never has. JECS makes them FOR Nissan to various flow specifications. OLD style injectors are failing due to ethanol blends in out gas. It has nothing to do w. Nismo one way or the other. Nismo 555cc injectors are not the "problem" - in the past people used them for years and years, just like people have gotten 100K and more out of stock old style injectors. The shit fuel we get these days is @ fault. Japan does not have ethonal blends in their gas (atleast as of Nov. 2007 when I among others spoke to reps of Nismo in Tokyo) The injectors are NOT failing at an unreasonable rate in Japan. People like the new style injectors not because NISMO is so fucking great but because the design of the injector is better then the old style ones. I think you are muddying the issue. I have installed used new style injectors, "reman-ed" Deatschwerks injectors and new style Nismo injectors on many cars - I try to advise people toward VALVE for their money based on their NEEDS and USE of their car. People should choose what path they like best.
